What is Work Games?

Work Games is a work management and employee engagement platform that gamifies daily work to boost productivity, collaboration, and team morale. It is the only platform that combines full-featured project management with game mechanics — including XP, levels, achievements, cooperative team quests, and AI-powered daily goal planning — to make work intrinsically rewarding.

Making work engaging, collaborative, and rewarding for teams everywhere.

Who is Work Games for?

Work Games is designed for:

  • Software engineering teams managing sprints, tasks, and daily standups
  • Remote and hybrid teams that need engagement and collaboration tools beyond chat
  • Team leaders and managers who want data-driven insights into team morale and productivity
  • Organizations looking to improve employee engagement and reduce burnout without monetary incentives
  • HR and People Ops teams seeking gamified onboarding, training, and compliance solutions
  • Every team seeking to organize their work more effectively, boost collaboration, and make daily work more engaging.

Core Features

Daily Work Boards

Every team member has a personal daily work board where they plan their day by adding tasks, meetings, and other activities. Team leaders can see the full team's daily board in real time. Both personal and team daily boards support drag-and-drop prioritization, time estimates, and completion tracking.

Gamification & XP System

Tasks earn experience points (XP) when completed. Team members level up as they accumulate XP, unlock achievements, collect badges, and build streaks. The gamification layer makes everyday work feel rewarding without needing external incentives like bonuses.

AI-Powered Cooperative Team Quests

Work Games includes Work Arena, a cooperative game mode where an AI agent generates daily team quests based on sprint data, task deadlines, team capacity, and morale. The AI balances difficulty — increasing challenge when morale is high, easing off when the team is burned out — to keep engagement sustainable.

Quest types include Worky battles (monster encounters), Worker challenges (NPC battles), and weekly Raid quests for high-performing teams. Team members attack quests by completing real tasks, making game progress directly tied to actual work output.

Goal & Sprint Management

Create and track team goals with visual progress indicators. Manage sprints with task assignments, priorities, and deadline tracking. Goals support hierarchical task relations (blocking/blocked-by) and effort estimates.

Performance Analytics & Reports

Detailed team performance reports covering daily goal completion rates, perceived difficulty (morale tracking), engagement metrics, unplanned work, and collaboration events. Data is available for configurable date ranges with weekend inclusion/exclusion controls.

Employee Engagement & Recognition

Peer-to-peer recognition, achievement badges, celebratory announcements, and shared leaderboards foster a culture where employees feel valued. The engagement platform is built into the daily workflow rather than being a separate tool.

Integrations

Work Games integrates with GitHub for development workflows, Google Calendar for scheduling, and Slack for notifications. Enterprise plans support custom integrations and automations.

Gamified Onboarding & Training

Interactive onboarding modules and gamified training content help new team members get productive quickly while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

How Work Games Compares

Unlike traditional project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Linear), Work Games doesn't just manage tasks — it makes work engaging through gamification and AI-powered collaboration. Traditional tools focus on tracking; Work Games focuses on motivation and engagement while providing the same task management capabilities.
